How do I rent a car with Yeyecar?

Download the Yeyecar app, search for available cars on your dates, select a car, and book it instantly. You'll need to verify your identity and driving license during the booking process.

What do I need to rent a car?

You need a valid driving license, a smartphone with Bluetooth, and a payment method. You'll also need to verify your identity through the app.

How does the verification process work?

After booking, you'll be asked to verify your email and upload photos of your driving license and ID. This helps us keep the platform safe for everyone.

Pickup & Return

Where do I pick up the car?

We'll send you the exact location a few hours before your rental starts. You can also find it in the app under 'My Rentals'. The location will be within the parking area shown on the car details page.

How do I unlock the car?

Using the Yeyecar app! The car is equipped with a Bluetooth smart lock. Simply open the app during your rental period and tap 'Unlock' when you're near the car.

Where should I return the car?

Return the car to the same town where you picked it up. The app will show you the designated parking area. Make sure to park legally and safely.

What if I can't find the car at pickup?

Check the exact location in the app under 'My Rentals'. If you still can't find it, call our support team at +34 680 272 487 and we'll help you locate it.

During Your Rental

What's included in the rental price?

Your rental includes full risk insurance with no deductible, unlimited mileage, and 24/7 roadside assistance. All standard features like air conditioning and Bluetooth are included.

What about fuel?

You should return the car with the same fuel level as when you picked it up. If you don't refuel, we'll charge a fair price for refueling based on the amount used.

Can I extend my rental?

Not at the moment. Rental extensions are not currently available. If you need the car for longer, you'll need to make a new booking.

What if something goes wrong with the car?

Contact us immediately at +34 680 272 487. We provide 24/7 roadside assistance for all mechanical issues, accidents, or emergencies.

Payments & Cancellations

When do I pay for my rental?

Payment is processed when you complete your booking. The full amount is charged upfront.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes, you can cancel for free up to 24 hours before your rental start time. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure payment system in the app.

Insurance & Safety

What insurance is included?

All rentals include full risk insurance with no deductible. This covers damage to the vehicle, third-party liability, and theft protection.

What happens if I damage the car?

Report it immediately through the app or by calling us. Our insurance covers all damage with no deductible, so you won't have to pay anything extra.

Am I allowed to drive outside Tenerife?

No, our cars can only be used within Tenerife. You cannot take the car to other islands or off Tenerife.
